The left lane on a stretch of I-84 reopened earlier than expected after a crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Thursday morning, Feb. 21.
The westbound incident occurred in Putnam County at Route 311 (Exit 18).
A heavy tow-truck wrecker arrived at the scene and removed the trailer at around 8 a.m.
The lane had originally been expected to be closed until about 10 a.m., state police said.
